Blond Capuchin Monkey Habitat (Brazil)

Reforestation in The atlantic Rainforest

In partnership with the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability of Paraíba (SEMAS-PB), Rapid Reforest is leading a major reforestation project in the state of Paraíba.

Rapid Reforest is leading an ambitious initiative to restore 88 hectares (217 acres) of degraded land in Mamanguape, Paraíba. Our mission is to plant 80,000 native trees, revitalizing a critical section of the Atlantic Forest — one of the most threatened and biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.

At the heart of this project is the protection and recovery of the natural habitat of the Blond Capuchin Monkey (Sapajus flavius), a critically endangered species found only in this region. By reconnecting isolated forest fragments and creating ecological corridors, we aim to ensure the survival of this species and strengthen the entire ecosystem they depend on.

Beyond restoring habitat, this project will have a powerful climate impact. The trees we plant will act as vital carbon sinks, helping to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere while boosting biodiversity and stabilizing the local environment. Through science-driven reforestation, we are not only rebuilding forests — we are restoring hope, resilience, and a greener future for generations to come.

Strategic Partnerships

Our reforestation project is powered by strong partnerships with government, nonprofit, and community organizations.

We proudly collaborate with the State Secretary for the Environment and Sustainability of Paraíba (SEMAS-PB), who provide essential technical and institutional support to align our work with state conservation goals.

We also partner with AFINK, a nonprofit specializing in community-driven reforestation and environmental protection, ensuring that our projects are both science-based and socially inclusive.

Local communities, including Indigenous and Quilombola groups, are deeply involved in the project, helping to guarantee that reforestation efforts are sustainable, culturally respectful, and impactful for generations to come.

Together, these partnerships are critical to restoring ecosystems, protecting endangered species, and building a greener future.

Our projects

Reforestation

We leverage cutting-edge technology — including drones and artificial intelligence — to optimize planting strategies and monitor reforested areas, improving both efficiency and ecological outcomes.

Seed Bank

We maintain a dedicated seed bank to preserve native tree species, ensuring genetic diversity and strengthening the success of our reforestation efforts.

Forest Monitoring

We implement continuous monitoring to track tree growth, assess ecosystem health, and detect illegal activities, protecting the integrity of restored areas over time.

Make an impact—support reforestation and carbon offset projects today.
